Hey Everybody, this is Pegi Ballister-Howells from The Garden Show. Due to a format change from Beasely Media I will no longer be sharing your Sunday mornings. It has been a surprisingly long run of 34 years, or about 3400 hours of bringing gardeners together. I have enjoyed every minute and learned as much from listeners as they learned from me.
My thanks to Jared Migden for being an amazing board op for the last ten years and for letting me torment him just a tiny bit on the air. And to Beasely Media for giving me the opportunity to reach you all to say goodbye. Special thanks to Tony Marano for asking me to fill in for a lawyer call in show 34 years ago and deciding to keep me around. Without a doubt my biggest thanks go to my loyal listeners. What a fabulous group of people. Without you there would have been no show.
But I don’t want you to think I am gone forever. We have set up this website PegiGarden.com. There is a place for comments so I will be able to answer your questions and will be able to update you as to what comes next for me and our gardening community. Spring is just around the corner and that is when everything comes back to life.
So until then have a good one. Happy gardening.
-Pegi
I have been looking for you.I don't know what to do with my Sunday mornings.Hate football to add insult to injury.Gardening is much more important. Love you and your fabulous advice and stories!Hope to stay in touch with you even at your website in the future.
I'm having a hard time figuring out what to do on Sunday mornings now. The Garden Show was such a great way to start my day. Looking forward to whatever comes next.
I am saddened to not hear you! Luckily I heard quickly your voice on the NFL broadcast this past Sunday and kept searching for you and here you are! You were my "passenger" as I drove to church every Sunday. I look forward to following you in your next endeavor. Marguerite - Piscataway
Looked forward to your show every week. Hopefully you will do a podcast or an internet call in show. And yes I hope Ira gets some snow!
There you are!
What a disappoint to have the quiet, mellow talk of flowers and gardening to be replaced with the aggressive (fachia brute) sport players !
America's priorities are in the wrong place.
Looking forward to find you at your new venue.
Until....
